If you have ever experienced ESTRANGEMENT you know the heartbreak. Anyone who has been alienated from your child through divorce knows this is an earth shattering experience.

BUT, dreams do come true. After being estranged too long, the year 2014 started off with a farewell letter to my adult kids. I surrendered and was done.

But, my mother had a better plan. Several months later she passed. Her funeral was the first time I had seen my adult kids in 4 years. What transpired that day turned our lives around.

Our story is about second chances, choices and consequences — and hope. And that dreams of reconciliation do come true. Because I am living proof.
